Both you and @Awesome Wells were thinking when making sure to preserve your magazine collection :salute:

I was just telling my sister the the other day, I wish i would’ve kept my VHS tapes of old interviews I had recorded from back in the day when artists were on BET, Vh1 and MTV

Old episodes of the Howard Stern Show

Man we ain’t know how good we had it back then
I got those too. I got never before seen interviews of rappers in Germany from when I was there. I’ve already started converting for YouTube. Plus I got pics from concerts.

I have the actual magazine. lol. My collection is LARGE. The only person I really can't fukk with online is Rapzines because that mf literally has everything. But I go back to the late 80s with a lot of shyt from Beatdown, ego trip, source(every issue from 90-2005), XXL(all issues from beginning to about 2005), vibe(first 13 or 14 years or so), word up, rap masters, elemental, scratch, blaze, rap pages, etc... I'm only missing one VIBE magazine to complete my shyt and I had that one , but lost it in a house fire.

Same, bro.

Still have every Source from December '92 to July 2010. I still have all of my Blaze, Ego Trip, Rap Pages, XXL's and Stress magazines from the 90's. And I kept a lot of the good Vibe's from back then too. I even did every Scratch magazine, and mad KING's too, lol. That was the best time for reading up on Hip Hop. I can never throw these away. Those were the days.

Er...I hope you guys archive that and upload it somewhere. Not just for documentation, but because people like to lie and twist history. You know the drill. Plus...it'd be dope to read.

I had EVERY issue but lost 90% of those in a water damage incident. Fire and Water. Life’s not fair. Lost about 10% of my boxing mags in water damage but I still have my entire Slam collection dating back to 1st.
Dang, Sorry to hear that dawg.

On the real I mainly asked that question because I wanted to brag and stunt, I have the very first KING Magazine issue, the preview issue that has Nicole Robinson on the cover.

Edit: Damn this thread got me thinking of rare content now, I'd dead azz pay some good money for anyone that has a copy of the unaired pilot of Girlfriends Jill Marie Jones and Persia White weren't the original cast members in that episode.

and this is why I do it. It's a lot of stuff I've forgotten about the past 30+ years that's in print.

Big Daddy Kane dissing Will Smith(fresh prince) in Word up
Dre dissing DOC in Source interview
DJ Quik dissing Ice T in Rap Sheet.

And then there is the infamous lie about eminem getting 2 mics in the source. IT NEVER HAPPENED!!! They have told this lie so much the past 20+ years that Benzino himself started believing it and gave an interview talking about how he gave MMLP a low rating :russ: . The album ALWAYS had 4 mics from the beginning. I have the issue!!
