I've enjoyed fukking a bunch of random bytches, don't mean I couldn't have accomplished a lot more if I didn't spend the better part of a decade going to clubs 3/4days a week

As you get older and you reflect on life, you realize that TIME is not really something we have a whole lot of.
So what you're saying sounds good while you're young, but eventually you'll see how foolish a statement like what you said really is. I'm not saying all gaming ever done is a waste of time. But MOST of it, yeah. Because the amount of time spent on gaming probably could have gotten you multiple degrees in a field if that same time and effort was spent elsewhere. Just an opinion, not saying my opinion is fact. But if you add up the hours.. am I right?

OP is in the same boat as me. I have a backlog of games (physical & digital) on the PS4. The thing is with me I rather wait until the weekend to play games as for something for me to do. I let my backlog get so long sometimes I don't even want to turn the game on. One of the reasons my backlog is out of control is because I continued to buy games and get half way through them and either I don't finish them, never start, or wait until 2-3 months to finish them. Which is why I said, I wouldn't buying as many games this year. I haven't bought one physical game this year.

I'm just a lazy gamer at 34, I just got UMvC3 last weekend I only played it for a few mins. See that's another thing with me playing games now a lot of these games that get hyped are either bad, lackluster story, or little to no replay value. So I can get bored with something real quick.

As you age, you look back and you think about all the time and money you spent gaming and realize... I could have accomplished so much if I used that time differently

Is getting a platinum trophy really worth the time of your life wasted to achieve it (The answer is 100x no)
The ONLY way out of this cycle is to limit how many games you get.. because, lets keep it real here.
As a child, thats all you was able to have was a "limited amount" of games. You wanted every game, but you was happy with what you got. Even a bad game would be played and disected. Today, you don't have to buy shyt and you get 4+games for free each MONTH

You start trying to play everything and end up finishing NOTHING. I currently have over 200 games on my XB1, I would like to play thru at least 100, I'd be lucky to finish 10

I can only play a few hours. Before I get bored. I used to go 10 hours straight. Might be a miracle actually.
