I just don't know why you would take that job right now at all. They have what 3 or 4 people signed for next year? And 1 of them is coming off an ACL injury. It's only a good job to take after you see who they get in the off season & how are you going to convince big free agents to sign without knowing who the coach is.

It's a bad spot for guys like SVG, whose stock is pretty high, & will get offers from other teams. If he signs & they don't get anybody big in free agency, he'll have a bad roster to work with. So I just don't see him doing it.

The Hawks are the best situation in the NBA outside of Miami, OKC, and SA. We have top 3 GM with a top 15-20 player, two quality rookies, and one of the best 6th man in the NBA plus 32+ mil in cap space.
