I see your point, but that dude is way more accomplished on the international level than Dennis is so it makes sense someone like him would get in.

Which is why I followed up by saying if he medals in 2028, he might have more of a case.

Those international tourneys are major resume builders. Unfortunately for him, Germany's only now really coming on and he's 32. If he was 26 and this was happening, he'd have more time to build. As it is, he has maybe 1 more cycle of International Ball left in him.

This is why I kind of hate that the NBA uses the BASKETBALL HOF and doesn't have a hall of their own.

It makes for messy situations like this with most Americans thinking the NBA is the end all be all( cause it is to Americans)
