Yahoo’s comment section has got to be one of the most restrictive I’ve every seen.

Umm it still is

Naw, they moderate the shyt out of those comments sections now. Yahoo comments used to be a Klan rally no matter what the article was about. You could have a story about rainbows and the comments would be all MAGA talking real racist shyt. It was so bad they shut down the comments and when they brought them back they have tried really hard to keep them MAGA folks at bay.

Like others have said, well deseved.
Imdb ratings on black well regarded films vs actual critic ratings should tell you enough. The comments on their forums back in the day. Lol.

I used to browse city-data to learn about different neighborhoods, or even see what people thought of my own. Anywhere with majority black people, would be automatically undesirable.

Long story short, if you've been on the internet long enough, as an actual black person that knows they're black, most places on the intermet full of racist white people.

Gotta be the WOAT. I remember lurking there & seeing gentrifiers using 'coded' words to ask about Black neighborhoods

Overall, i remember the breaking point was when websites switched to only allow Facebook accounts to post. It worked at first, because racists forgot we could see their personal/work info (and faces). Then they smartened up 😔

Posters were going ape shyt posting crazy shyt on their comments a few years ago and Yahoo actually shut down comments for like a year to overhaul the whole thing
This. Anyone who wasn't around knows especially after Trump, that shyt was absolutely the most racist in a random way kinda of website around.

Click on a post about Martha Stewart and there would still be a "Dindu Nuffin" comment. Its actually fascinating how bad it was. Before they clipped the comments for a bit, predictably making Conservatives mad, a ton of articles that showed anything with black or hispanic people would pre-emptively have comments disabled, especially if it was a crosspost of a Fox News article.

Op probably still has a yahoo email address :flabbynsick:
You definitely weren't around for the old days, say 07 and on until they got rid of Yahoo Answers. That shyt was Tea Party and MAGA before they had a name or stupid ass acronym for it.

Speaking of, Internet Ass Muhfukkas: Have yall noticed they got an acronym just like you???

I definitely understand their reasoning.
Yahoo Answer was live back in the day. Me being the horny teenager I was at the time would type in shyt like onion booty or round n brown to see what they was saying. Cacs would be like “What’s an onion booty? Does it make you shed tears?”

The troll threads were lit.

Assuming you meant web search instead of comments, you prolly need to turn safe search off
