We've seen QBs, including Brady, Manning, Rodgers etc. make bad decisions/throws in key situations. We have never seen this level of stupidity from a coaching staff. That severely overshadows anything that happened with the actual execution.

the 4th&2 vs the Colts that the Pats failed to convert was dissected like crazy and Belichick was being criticized heavily (granted it wasnt in the SB)

Belichick has made some questionable calls over his many seasons with the Pats. The difference here is the execution and player dealing with the decision/play call.

If Wilson throws the ball away because he realizes the play is blown up, then the next play Lynch runs it in to the end zone, we arent even having this conversation. theres no outrage in the playcall. This is why coaches dont want their players to be "robots"

I. Let us not forget these nikkas had a 10 pt lead in the 4th and continuously went 3 and out & handed the ball back over the Brady on multiple occasions, before that last drive. Pathetic.

II. I'm more inclined to think Pete is jumping on the sword for his OC (who actually through Lockette under the bus nonetheless). I can't imagine the man who was a coach in the TEX vs USC game would do this to himself after his experience.

III. Stupid motherfukkers should have taken a page out of my Buckeyes book and "Feed The Beast". It's funny, college mofos suppose to be the ones out thinking themselves and all that with this new age offense shyt, but even most of them know when you just gotta line em up and say "my guys vs your guys", you know we're going to do but cha not gonna stop it. In other words, of Marshawn's no less, 'Y'all know why I'm here", but apparently, no, his coaches do not know why he's here :beli:

the throw was fine...the receiver got beat to the spot. It was a great play by the cornerback.

With that being said, it doesn't matter because it's the WORST PLAYCALL OF ALL TIME. You simply don't pass the ball there....stupid.

Dese nikkas had a 10 pt. lead.
That's true. But the Patriots were adjusting and made the right play calls to take it down the field twice. They have Brady, Edelman, Vereen, Gronkowski, and Amendola. It's not like they were playing the Cincinnati Bengals.

That's pretty much a anticipation play with half a yard to go

Just stupidity on their part

Beli is known as risk taker. When he makes said questionable calls it's usually with his bread and butter (Thomas or before Thomas rose to elite status it was the defense/special teams). This Seattle team is predicated on running the football, to call a pass like that at that juncture goes against everything they have done the last few years. If that is Thomas or Peyton or Rodgers you don't think twice about the call because you see them do that all the time.

Wilson tried to be the hero, point blank. He believed he could make it happen. There was no reason whatsoever to put him in that position to begin with though. Coaches may not want robots but they do want players to run the play that's called. How about just run Lynch into the endzone on that play, what exactly are we waiting for? You don't have plays to throw away or waste down 4 with 30 sec left.

Id have to disagree with the throw being fine. On a slant route in the red zone against that coverage you throw it low or to the back shoulder if your outside receiver gets jammed up. I agree with it being the WORST PLAY CALL OF ALL TIME. In all my years of watching sports that has to be the most asinine decision I have ever seen.

To line the QB up in Shotgun formation on the goaline. Word to Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, only but so much could go wrong with the snap in a Shotgun formation...
