I've had a guy ask me a buy him a drink before. He was alot more discreet with it but he was asking. I've even had coworkers beg me to "treat them" to the fancy bar, down stairs

On the East Coast, speaking specifically on 'Cuse, I know for a fact if you ask or get asked by a man regarding drinks, it would definitely come off as suspect and a confrontation might pop off, y'know, a few words are said, a little push and shove, and maybe a fist gets swung.
