I had a halal gyro off a truck in NYC last month told dude to put everything on it. Yep it had white sauce and hot sauce, and it ranks as the best thing I've eaten this entire year.

There are better options than Halal guys, it was good at first but since they have branched out its pretty mediocre. The local spots serving the same thing are better.
And halal just means muslim prayer when cutting the animal, you can eat halal mcdonalds, etc.

Lemme get a combo over rice, pita on top and just a lil bit of white sauce
some spots like Shah’s are good but kinda plain. Zaki Bros uses onions which elevates them to the best for me. Had a decent one on Sutphin the other day but nothing amazing
I miss the bagel carts but Halal be holding it down almost 24 hours a day. It’s a good deal and convenient
