where do you see that love happens over time? who determines how long is long enough to love someone?
you're not convincing me of anything you're just saying no because no.
and how can love have a definition when love can not be defined as a tangible thing? what is that large difference between the chemical reaction of dopamine for love and attraction?
Bro love happens over time.
That was the whole point of my post. It cannot happen instantaneously, that's just attraction.
And how can you say love is not a tangible thing but at the same time trivialize love to being just a release of chemicals?
If love is a release of chemicals then it can be measured, if it can be measured then it is tangible.
Each reaction produces different chemicals.
It's proven that Oxytocin and Vasopressin is releasing once bonding occurs, and bonding is something that occurs over time.
Testosterone and estrogen drive lust; dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin create attraction; and oxytocin and vasopressin mediate attachment.
A: The testes and ovaries secrete the sex hormones testosterone and estrogen, driving sexual desire.
B and C: Dopamine, oxytocin, and vasopressin are all made in the hypothalamus, a region of the brain that controls many vital functions as well as emotion.
D: Several of the regions of the brain that affect love. Lust and attraction shut off the prefrontal cortex of the brain, which includes rational behavior.
