I remember when we'd warzone came out. Some had it for PS others N64. Then thq came in crushed the building with WCW/nwo revenge, WrestleMania 2000 and no mercy. Lines were drawn in the sand at that time.

Those Aki joints were and still are the best wrestling games ever made...25+ years on.

Ps1 had the rpgs, and everything else but the wrestling pinnacle was all N64

It was truly a pit. Ps1 and 2 moved on, Xbox came out and mfs was just stuck. If you didn't have the N64 then you eventually graduated to Madden, NCAA football, whatever NBA games were out, and playing more broad titles, better graphics, internet play....by the time some made the jump the gap was too big.
