Facebook had a burn rate of $30k per month when they began to scale up. That was in its early stages, before you could upload a bunch of pictures and media!
I don't expect MoorUs to grow that fast. But, even if he experiences a fraction of the growth of Facebook, he's looking at dropping $10k per month to keep it alive.
He could get a capital injection from Facebook or Google! But, that defeats the purpose of having a Black-owned platform.
He's a smart dude, so I'm sure he's looked at all of this. Or, at least I hope he has.
