Raiders should draft Teta McMillan and build the OL then go after a QB next year’s draft. Two 6’4 monsters with hands and YAC is just too much to stop. They’re both like a TE/Big WR hybrid.

Pretty sure that’s what Tom Telesco is thinking.

I said it before the draft, the new tackle rules will make it tough to bring down any ball carrier good at breaking tackles/picking up YAC.

Stats are what they are in this year in this moment, can't argue that. Bowers production is guaranteed to level off this following year and personally I have way more faith in Pitts reaching his potential than Bowers carrying these stats forward. If you a GM you taking Bowers over Pitts?!

Think you confused Hockenson with Laporta who probably had greatest rookie TE year ever statistically last year. Definitely came back down to earth in year two. Hock used to play for Lions but got hurt last year for Vikings

Bowers is CLEARLY better than Pitts. Unfortunately, I’ve watched a fair amount of Raiders games this year (draft reasons), and the QB play from the Raiders is beyond abysmal. Bowers pops on the screen when you watch him play.

I’m not going to say he’s going to be the GOAT or that he’s going to have an even bigger year next year, but he is absolutely legitimate and absolutely better than Pitts.
