2 of 7, 4 points, 3 turnovers in the 4th Q of an elimination game. Sounds like a failure to me

Or maybe he got shut down because he had no other credible threats on his team? I'm not a melo fan or apologist, but I've seen him rip teams IN THE PLAYOFFS in the 4th quarter. I've seen him hit game winners. Name every superstar and I can point to a bad playoff game and a good playoff game. Except D.Wade, when he's healthy he provides nothing but exemplary performances.

In typical Melo :cape: fashion it's everyone else's fault BUT Melo as the reasons why they lost in the playoffs AGAIN. Dont y'all ever get tired of defending this loser every yr like this?

What excuse, when has Melo ever been on title contending team. Fact is Indiana are a better team, that's why they won:ohhh:. And those Denver teams he was on weren't one of the better teams in the West.

Put those Denver teams in the East during that period, and they make the ECF almost every damn year.

Fact is whether some of you want to accept this or not, in team sport the team matters, not just one individual, no matter how talented(I know ESPN tells folks like you to think different).

I would love to know, all the great players who won rings, with a mediocre cast of players around them?

having less assists than zbo and david west-not his fault:beli:

having more TO's than assists by a wide margin-not his fault:beli:

losing to the pacers as the favs- not his fault:beli:

When was Indy the better team? After they won? NYK was the #2 seed, with home court & lost in 6 games. This was a failure

And one of those DEN teams miraculously went to the WCF in 09. So they did have a legit team at one point, but that same DEN team lost to Utah in the first round the next yr :dead:

BTW, fukk your hypotheticals. I deal in reality. You're the #2 seed in the East, no excuse to lose to Indy (a good team) with home court. None.

Stop making all these fukkin excuses for Melo.

These two nor Dwight will ever get scrutinized the way Bron has before and even after becoming a champion. The expectations on Bron are totally outrageous to be real and he's met all of them. With Dwight the fans and the media knows he is too goofy and not focused on titles like he should be. Melo is probably a secondary star on a title team at this point and isn't anywhere near Bron's level so the media doesn't focus on him as much either. And KD still has time on his side. But out of those three I still expect and believe that Durant will when multiple titles sooner than later.
