@DANJ! still defending bad booking :salute:

"Bad booking" is not announcing a guy's in the Royal Rumble, while he's giving interviews speaking in kayfabe about them not wanting him in it? I guess so, just remember that when he's in that ring and nobody in that crowd gives a shyt that Michael Cole didn't say it on RAW.

Crowd will care though...so that's the draw of the event for me.

Yeah, no matter how you slice it, Bryan not being in would be garbage.

One way I could see it going down is Batista comes in as the 28th or 29th wrestler, does some heelish shyt with the help of the authority and eliminates Punk. Everybody thinks Batista has it in the bag, when suddenly as the 30th buzzer sounds, Daniel Bryan's music hits and he runs in there as a last minute entrant and somehow overcomes Batista to screw the authority and head to Wrestlemania as the main eventer!

Next day on RAW the big mystery is who allowed Daniel into the rumble, and it ends up being revealed that Vince has done a pseudo-face turn and co-signed Daniel just to rub it in the face of his daughter and son in law - setting up that McMahon rivalry everyone keeps predicting.

I remember the last time message boards were overprotective of a wrestler to a point where every little thing that happened to him on TV was an intended attempt to kill his career. And he went on to hold the WWE title for 434 days. Bryan is OK.
people fall back on this logic all the time. But does anyone ever come to the conclusion that maybe they simply just value and see more in Punk than they do Bryan? It's something to consider given how things have played out for him to this point.

also as much as he likes to play the "rebel/victim" to the media/fans. do they really treat Punk that badly? i mean really?

These D-Bry dikksuckers are the worst. The man will either win the rumble or lose in a way that leads to a major feud. Stop crying like sissies because your swaggerless midget hero isn't getting a goldberg winning streak. :laff:

I agree with this notion but here's the thing.. nobody would be surprised if Batista does win the Rumble and Bryan isn't in it. WWE's terrible track record goes a long ways into being able to carry out elaborate works. If WWE had been competent for the past 8 years.. we'd all believe that Bryan is winning without a doubt. Their past history of gross incompetence is actually a selling point now :heh:

Also punk is way more vocal than Bryan, and he really doesnt give a fukk about pissing people off
