I have a few times, 5 bucks here and there, probably only around 40 bucks worth.

You guys saying no and laughing at the idea are the reason they want to end net neutrality. Y'all think you just deserve all this shyt. You don't. Not telling y'all to donate, but don't get surprised when the fun ends.
"not telling yall to donate but here's a guilt trip anyway" :loldenzel2:

Your $40 isn't gonna save the world breh...and apparently they feel the same

It's a not a guilt trip it's just reality. Everyone making excuses over why it doesn't make sense to throw a few bucks to wiki, but if they decided to shut down tomorrow or charge for the service people would call them greedy and/or incompetent.

I kinda hope net neutrality ends tbh. I'm not invested in social media like that and I can personally afford the extra expenses it may take to enjoy some of my online stuff. A lot of dudes think stunting on FB and IG and YouTube and Wikipedia etc; and all this other shyt we take for granted is a human right. Guess what, it's not.

This is bullshyt, breh.

We don't deserve wiki's content anymore than they deserve our cash. If they feel the need to change their structure to a pay to view like the New York Times, then that's their prerogative. If they'd rather keep it open and let the few users who feel motivated to contribute cover their costs that's their prerogative too. But none of this has anything to do with net neutrality. :stopitslime:

That's fine, but at the end of the day, they are creators, we are consumers. We may feel we shouldn't have to pay for the privilege of having information at our fingertips in an instant, and they aren't obligated to provide it for free. It's that simple. Quid pro quo. And if you think this type of mentality where we feel we don't have to pay extra for any of this shyt( not only that, but many of us find the idea laughable) has nothing to do with net neutrality you are delusional, sorry.

Guess what, if I had to choose of course I wouldn't want it to happen because I'd rather pay less. I'm saying I understand why they are trying to move in this direction. And I can personally afford it so IDGAF. I'm not on IG and twitter all day, and I aint broke, so it's whatever to me.

I am personally amazed that sites like YouTube and Wikipedia which I DO utilize on a daily basis are able to provide what they do at the level and efficiency that they do for the chump change I pay for internet now, so if Wiki asks me for a few bucks every now and then I understand. That's my mentality.
