80s babies wont hear any truth about mike tyson. they stan him too much. fact is in his prime he fought nobodies and an injured light heavyweight with no knees to win the belt. lost to douglas in his prime. every fighter that stood up to him beat him. he was a bully who couldnt hack it when people fought back. he also couldnt defend a jab or fight on the inside. hence why every tyson fight is full of holding. most overrated overhyped fighter of all time maybe.

Razor Ruddock stood up to Tyson. He wasn't scared at all. He ended up with two L's.

Even against Buster Douglas, Tyson was losing the fight but hung in there and got a late-round knockdown


Tyson wasn't the best fighter in terms of mental toughness, but people oversimplify when they act like all they had to do was stand up to him and push him around a bit.

Yeah. Riddikk would've dominated Lewis around 92-93. He was more polished than Lewis at that point. Having said that, Bowe declined quickly, and I'd give Lewis the edge anytime from 95 or after.

Mike post prison was trash, he was awful. Definition of ring rust. I would like to forget about that version but that is unfair.
His short prime in the 80's was phenomenal, but he did not have the holyfield bout...destiny and fate.
