He was a rich middle eastern dude, dude just copped a new BMW so he didn't drive the benz anymore. 05 Benz C250. And nah, I didn't pay first. I test drove, took my mechanic with me and had him look at it, then I paid.
cars beautifil bruh yea but bruh its still risky man he didnt technically have to give you the car once he got paid

For the love of god, make sure the ac/heat components work if you live in a very hot or cold area

Bought a 1992 Camry XLE off Craigslist in March 2015 from an older couple for $1800, 133k on the odometer

Had it ever since, drove to Memphis and Little Rock over the summer. Never gave me any problems what so ever

so buying from a random nikka is a waste of time?

I've seen some people come up on some cars they bought off random people. A few months ago I know someone who bought a car that was almost brand new for cheap and they just saw the car in the parking lot. You just have to be careful. My mechanic is a friend of the family, so I would have him inspect before I purchase it.

You need him to sign over the title of ownership when you buy the car.
Or write up a contract in very simple terms and go get it notarized.

before i transfer money?

Before you pay. You can make a very simple contract that you are buying vehicle a at a certain price and you both get your signatures notarized on that document. It will be legally binding. Once you give him the money, he will be legally obligated to give you the vehicle.
