The first one has aged well IMO

The 2nd and 3rd ones were nice follow ups. But after the 4th one you can tell they wrote themselves into a corner. “Marked Ones” was good but it became a lost cause.

I heard that Blumhouse is thinking about rebooting the series. And honestly with how the world is looking right now they would have LOTS of ways to go at it.

The movies are a slow burn, but once they pick up they are enjoyable.

Yup. Watched 1 and 3 the other day and still enjoyed them. Forgot how creepy they can be and how it sneaks up on me

They are very cerebral films. Not scary while watching them, but once they are over you get the thinking. Especailly if you believe in spirits and witches lol.

Yeah watching part 1 in a packed theater and then coming home and being creeped out is still one the best memories I have. That movie really got under my skin

Liked them all except the last one. Only the 1 & 3rd one are rewatchable to me though. 4’s ending was dope with the witches. Also the ending for the Mexican one, From where they went to the Grandmothers house on, was

I loved the first two. These movies and Cloverfield were definitely theater experiences. You had to be watching these in the movies, I watched the cam version of 3 so I don’t remember much but I thought the Mexican one was dope also
