i can't eat Japanese ramen noodles because they're made from white flour (wheat) and i'm allergic. but i do eat Vietnamese PHO the noodles are made from rice and healthier for you anyways. :blessed:

Ramen is pork or salt based broth that's pretty much ready to eat when served.. Pho is beef based broth that can be bland, but has bean sprouts, jalapeños, basil, lime, and sweet & spicy sauces that can be added to your taste.
I co-sign everything you said, with the exception of the bland broth...I didn't know it was possible for Pho to have a bland taste!

if u ain’t got the pork belly & the boiled egg it’s struggle ramen
I'm starting to realize the whole point of ramen is to throw together a bowl of soup for dinner in 5mins.

I don't know why the Japanese go through the trouble of boiling the egg before, when you can slowly just drop it in the broth and let it cook.

The egg is seasoned, that’s why.

OP’s pictures are dead but yeah ramen in Japan is just different. Fresh noodles, stock made over hours/days, the pork stuff I didn’t really mess with, but the mushrooms…jeeez
