An unevolved primitive mind driven by base instincts paired with our level of technological advancement has always been a mismatch. The only times we've moved forward as a species is due to an outside force or by going against our nature, everything else persists by following theirs.

Thread said we are the only species that engineered its own extinction. I proved that premise wrong in two different ways, One: the fact that we aren't extinct. (meaning we haven't engineered our own extinction) and two: the fact that other species have caused their own extinction. (meaning even if we did engineer our exinction we wouldn't be the only animal that has ever done that) that's all that needs to be said.

We haven't caused any planet ending shyt or made the planet uninhabitable to live either. Our planet is still inhabited.
