Donna from Black Ink did that shyt. It was suppose to be a for a lady who was trying to cover up a scar on her leg.

I mean it's not for me but those type of tattoos actual were trending in some circles. The dark solid tattoos.

yes they are called blackout tattoos and nicely done ones with white ink over them can look nice or better than what was previously there before the cover up

the tattoo she had originally due to the style would’ve looked like just a big blob years from now. if you’re not getting traditionally style tattoos with thick lines, your shyts gonna look like trash years down the line. that “realism” tattoo look is a waste of money

No. I have seen some very creative looking tattoos that were designed to cover up scars, and that doesn't even come close. Some of the tattoos that people get to mask mastectomies are amazing. That...is just a mess.
