Most Known Unknown went Platinum while Strength & Loyalty went Gold :martin:

Da Unbreakables went Gold while Thug World Order & Thug Stories went....?????

Bone was consistently outsold by 3-6 during the 2000's.

But more importantly...3-6 was taking big diarhea dumps on Bone quality of music/album wise during the 2000's.

And where are all these "who's more popular" being determinant of quality arguments when it's a Nas v. Jay thread :scusthov: or Nas V. Pac threads :pachaha:

Or are we just using it in here?:jbhmm:
I was thinking Last 2 Walk dropped the same year as Strength & Loyalty. Either way, it was their latest albums at the time and 3-6 had that "Lolli" song, a reality show , and an Oscar win in their favor and still sold less.

I'll give you Da Unbreakables.

In terms of quality, they are about even:

Bone: Creepin, E. 1999, BNTHResurrection, Strength & Loyalty

vs.

Three Six: Mystic Styles, The End, Ch. 2, When The Smoke Clears, Da Unbreakables, and Most Known Unknowns

^^^ The good to great albums from both groups. Bone's great albums are better than 3-6's. Album for album, 3-6 gets the edge.

In terms of MCing, Bone by a landslide. Nobody in Bone is worse than Crunchy Black and no one in 3-6 is better than Bizzy or Krayzie in terms of flow, lyrics, and delivery.

Pac vs. Nas and Jay vs. Nas have nothing to do with this.

I'll say that ugk doesn't have a great discography but bun b Is better then three six's best rappers & has the better songs. The geto boys? Scarface alone washes 36 alone. Three six made a lot of wierd and stupid songs that a lot of ppl can't bump. I do listen to 36 & have nothing against them, but I really cant say that there albums are anything great either. The only 36 mafia album I can truly say is good is mystic styles. Again I'm a fan of a lot of 36 mafia songs but they make a lot of dumb shyt.

There would be no "3-6 sound" without Ball & G...so i can accept that. :ehh:

But their discog just doesn't hold up (as great as it is) when compared to 3-6's.

But you'll get no argument from me if you prefer Ball & G over the 6 :hubie:
this one of the worst revisionist fukkin post I've ever seen on this site. Ball & G were mostly a mix on Houston and Memphis and sounded nothing like Mafia. Not even close to sounding alike. I lived in W. Memphis from 94-96 and Three Six influenced that whole city along with Skinny Pimp and Playa Fly. Hell Tela sounded more Memphis than Ball & G

As far as the thread id pick Three 6 over Bone cause I listen and go back to 3/6's music more

Bone got the better album between the two with E 1999, but Triple 6 got the better overall discography

Three 6 not better than Ball and G though:patrice:
