Respect your opinion, but 100% disagree.I think people who harp on "bothsiders" don't actually understand what people are getting at aside from the straight up contrarian idiots and agents actually looking to derail political movements.
If Malcom X were alive that same lot would call him a c00n for making distinction between foxes and wolves. They aren't 'literally' the same, but the have the same underlying agenda, just a different approach/presentation.
The majority of feckless Democrats signing off on celebrating a white supremacist is exactly who they were/are when they're pandering to you and giving you scraps to maintain an orderly white supremacist state. King saw this and talked about it, X pointed it up as well. "Foxy liberals" are in place to lull people to sleep and maintain decorum while they fukk you.
People throw their political weight behind these cowards and then wonder how we get to a place like this. Democrats literally strategically quashed a people oriented movement that could have countered what we are seeing now to keep fundamental change from happening. They also foolishly propped up Trump as their preferred opponent after they killed said movement because they figured his lack of decorum would be off-putting to people who have less and less to lose.
WHITE PEOPLE WERE ALWAYS GOING TO HAVE TO BE THE ONES TO FEEL ENOUGH PAIN TO CHANGE THINGS, THEY CHOSE THEIR DESTROYER, NOT US.
As some of us pointed out ahead of the election, Malcolm X is the wrong person to bring up in these convos.
Before he got assassinated, he set up an organization called
Organization of Afro-American Unity

And among the stated aims of his new organization was #8. You can find a larger size version of this pamphlet for the organization, but it reads "Stimulate international economic and political awareness."
To that end, he wanted people to become educated about the issues and the political process, and to use their votes accordingly to protect their individual and community interests. There are speeches, and interviews where he articulated this further.
Maga propaganda took snippets of his quotes to misrepresent his openly stated intentions and plans, and to discourage young Black men from voting.
Plain as day.
