Stay focused no matter what. Always keep learning and advancing your skills. Learn from those that have come before you and teach those that come after. Everyday is a fresh start, no matter how bad yesterday was. Treat everyone with respect, from the bottom of the ladder to the head of the company. Success is a privilege, not a right, stay humble and don't abuse it. They say it's who you know, but what you know can also get you far.

A book I've currently been trying to read is called The Energy Bus. 10 rules to fuel your life, work and team with positive energy. You are the driver of your own bus. The road ahead may be confusing, rocky, or have many twists and turns. But you are the driver and only you can navigate thru your life. Don't let anyone steer you off course. Not everyone reached their destination right away but don't stop driving.

Might seem facetious but being completely serious here:

1. Cop some adderall
2. Try to make as much money as much as humanly possible. This means doing work that's a title above you at work and learning as much as possible to be indispensable to your firm. If you're in a white collar profession (primarily finance and law) this also means striving to get into the best schools possible so you can maximize your chances of getting into the best paying and most prestigious companies.

Money is power and security for you and your family. If you have children, you owe it to them to make as much money as you can. Don't listen to these fukks who tell you to eschew money for something you love doing. Work is called work for a reason. Look at a job as a whore you constantly exploit to get paid and always look for better compensated opportunities. Realize that there is no loyalty in Corporate America and that know one has your number one interest at heart except you.

Make a plan to work towards your goal for a certain amount of time every day even if it's just an hour or two. Before you get started with your work, visit this site: http://e.ggtimer.com/, enter a time, click go, and don't allow yourself to do anything but work until you hear the beep. Once you hear the beep, take a black marker and use it to draw an x for todays date on one of these...

After a while you'll have a long chain of x's that you won't want to break. The longer the chain the more you'll fight to keep it going.

First part is true but I can't agree with this. I'm a big time extrovert but by observing others I've learnt the positives of being an introvert and its got me crazy p*ssy and others things in life. You really gotta be hitting switches, alot of people don't have the gift of being able to turn it ON and OFF so you gotta utilise that and not have one setting.

Go to work, to work. Not to make friendships, or get p*ssy. Get involved with the actual company besides what your specific job is. Learn everything you can. Go above and beyond. Do extra. Once you learn as much as you can and you see no upward movement, move on. Use that company like they use you. And remember this, tell nobody about your plans. Move in silence. There will be roadblocks, setbacks, bumps and bruises. Keep pushing.

Wish I could get this post tatted on my arm. Gonna write it down on paper. It's not anything I don't know but its always good to have reminders.

This is my biggest struggle
but on the flipside I'm such an 'in my head' person that I only really tell people what I want them to know.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Set certain goals for yourself in life. Never doubt yourself because it will hold you back in a long run. Remember, "work ethic elimates fear"- MJ
to build on this... always write things down.. it not only helps your brain remember, but also gives you a daily reminder to work on that goal
