7i'm off the grid completely in trms of acountability/monetarily so thurr's no way to cop most of the shyt i slap,the usually keep it digital aside from the occasional vinyl release&maybe one batch of physical cd's/cassette tapes(they're on the comeback) that the artist's usually chrge an exorbitant price for that frankly,for the mos part,can't afford cause i don't want to risk copping a dud/average album for that price
most of them brag about the guap,bytches,jewelry,whips,and fits they have,so i doubt they're missing it.. most artists make the bulk of their money from touring anyways according to the interviews/blogs/magazine's i've read/heard,i've prolly been to 50-60+ shows in my life&in'shallah if me&my mom get healthy,many many more..in addition i own 400-500+ CD's&Cassette's from the past,then,life started crushing me&some illuminazi henchmen blackballed me because of who my illegitimte grandfather was,so i went fairly broke,and when i do come up tis always bytch ass demonic FIAT Notes
anyhow,i'll digress as not to derail the thread..i still cop the occasional album here&there,usually in a package deal so i can rock the shirt&display the other schwag..
if tis an indie artist that i REALLY like&i can't/don't cop i get tinges of guilt..major record labels will never see another penny of mine dough,i'm not CON-tributing guap so Lyor Cohen can buy another yacht or some shyt..they're all merging into one enormous entity that controls all music&anyone who chooses to remain a true independent label(a rare thing,most artists claim they're truly independent&self sufficent but are distributed by major labels)will bprolly be taxed&fined heaviy for not conforming to the conglomerate..hip hop gonna go back to its guerilla ground roots,but instead of plugging speakers into the lightpoles for the DJ's turntables we'll be pluging our laptops/phones into hidden outlets..
