Only buy what you Really gonna be playing . Most If not all gamers got a crazy back log , I did for my ps3. This gen games are too expensive for that shyt buy 1 or 2 games at a time and play till u r done then when u ready to move on just trade in for something new

GameStop trade in value is trash but if u get a new game and u done with it in like 2 to 3 months u gunna prolly get like 30$ On trade in credit which means ya next game will b half off

The Original Rec Room Gang
:wow: great post breh
He told him to use gamefly, shytted on the only PS4 game you guys even attempt to talk about (infamous)
Then he tells him to spend $$$ on a PS3 game. Then names a few clowns who may or may not be on it

Because how fast did you guys abandon TLOU online mode :sas1:
I was there, and I was posting that nice GLITCH where the bama had unlimited fire bombs
Or the invincibility that was running rampart. I'd post the video, nikkaz would get furious.

Then the overall fanboy go to line was "I only play it for the campaign, best campaign ever!!!"

So which is it, you gonna replay the same campaign you played one year ago. Or is the multiplayer that was never considered GREAT, now this must have thing :dahell:

Now this was a great post :umad:

Pay full price.

If the game interests you enough that you don't want to wait for a sale, then the devs deserve the full purchase price.

Quilt being so damn cheap

it came off harsh, but this is the best advice...it's not saying go buy every game brand new and I understand everyone has different economic situations, but if a game interests you that much, you should pay full price when the game drops....you'll get 2 things outta it: get to play it then, not having to wait; and support the devs...which leads to more games being made by said devs...

Craigslist has been good to a nikka :yeshrug:

If you got a problem with Craig n dem, you can always go to a Gamestop whenever a new game comes out
Because there will be a line of gamers, and they always trading in NEWER games for chump change
Now you might be thinking "I'm not gonna post up out front of a gamestop" and I feel you on that
But when they have those midnight releases... eat bruh
I'll be there to buy the new game, and rack up on a bunch of old games that was about to be traded in
Win Win :win:

this is good advice too...

Honestly you either just gotta be the guy that's gonna wait for games to drop in prices, or cop full price. Renting and Craigslist is cool but I prefer owning games brand new.

ebay... best place to buy and sell them

games that gamestop gonna give you 1.25 for, you can sell an atleast make 5-10 bucks plus shipping

on the reverse click buy it now and they usually have brand new games for 35... used for less

Besides Amazon, I've shopped and bought from simply games.

Based out of England but they consistently have the lowest prices that I've come across and games almost never retail at full price. Infamous is currently at 38 bucks or so. Haven't had any issue with them and I've always received my purchase within 3-5 days after placing my order. Never pre-ordered from them but by all accounts, a lot of people have stated they've received the title a day or so before the release date. You can do your research for cheaper alternatives but I have no complaints between them and Amazon when it comes to the best deals.

this is wrong in both instances... well of course you get to play the game

but the devs aren't paid in any type of royalties.. they get a salary whether the game sells 10 copies or 10 million

the company might stay around longer... but why it's still wrong is, if you're buying in store... the store already bought it and the company already got paid...

ea sports selling all stores a game at $30 a pop... now if best buy selling it for 39.99, amazon for 45.99 and gamestop for 59.99..... ea sports still only got $30

so you better off finding the lowest price either way

If you are on the gamefly plan and are always playing games then I definitely recommend the 2 game plan and always have something on hand while you wait for shipping. You can get a nice system going in where you get 2-3 games per week if you do it right...8-10 rentals a month if you are one of those hardcore cats who straight marathons games

Craigslist...

always has games for good prices. best place to sell games too. This reminds me tho, back when i had a ps2, my dad found some gaming warehouse. They manufactured games and shyt. They would always sell games for like 5-10 bucks off to my dad brand new

I wasn't saying 'support the devs' meaning buying the game will give them money directly...I'm talking about supporting their product...the more units they move, the more likely they'll get funded to make more games quicker....that's why these companies are caring so much about pre-orders now...they gauging interest to see if they gonna use that dev to develop another game shortly after whatever releases....buying games after they're discounted helps, but not as much as buying the game when it's newer....

and like I said: i understand everyone's economic conditions are different, so I'm not saying go buy all games as soon as they released...just the games you really excited about/wanna play asap; or when it's a dev you've liked their games to show support to said dev...
