i now have 2 and kids is not for the weak of heart. most of your hobbies and free time will be dead, more stress and less time for yourself. with all that said it's still the most rewarding experience you'll go through imo. you need to make sure you have a good partner to help hold you down when times get rough.
plus cost of living just going up so i can see why people are 1 and done or none at all.

I can't speak to how people are gonna make child care work. It's undoubtedly stressful and expensive.
