I agree it's totally silly, but that's what he was thinking when he came up with the idea. The Ewoks are the guys wearing black pajamas living in holes in the middle of the jungle...as they appear in the mind of a "rebellious" American teenager thousands of miles away.

The Disney films have been nothing but cash grabs. Yeah all of the Star Wars films have cash grabs but the Disney films have been so blatant with it.

Yep, and people bought the hype. A lot of star wars stans still wont admit how shytty force awakens was, they all mad at last Jedi but this series was fukked with that horrible first entry. And they'll still go see this next one and I'm confident it will be heralded as the best in the trilogy and how it saved star wars so they can make more of these grabs.
