All I will say is. I used to think Kendrick was super deep in high school, don’t think that anymore. Also his music just has no replay value man. I thought it was just gkmc bc I played it so much in 2012 but it’s after album after that too. I’d say I wish he’d just drop some enjoyable music but I’d say that’s what he tried w damn and I didn’t like that either.
Say what you want about Drake but his replayabilty shyts on Kendrick. I love Kendrick but is it the voice, topics too hard hitting, beats? Idk but like you I used to bump all the time now maybe section 80 and TPAB

I played it a lot when it came out. Surprisingly, even though my girl hated most of it when it dropped, she loves it now.

Listened to it twice and it just wasn't for me. I could see and appreciate what his vision was but it's not just an album I would play again.

My personal favorite Kendrick album. The one I play the most, just so relatable. A masterpiece of metal health rap.
