The drive thru the woods scenes didn’t make any sense. He believed they had no concrete evidence on him but knew they were still investigating so why would he do all that dumb shyt unprovoked. Other than that it was an okay finale.

On top of likely being a narcissistic psychopath, Dave is also a sadist. He’s shown from the beginning that he can’t help but try to take one last shyt on anybody he feels he’s beaten. His scenes with his ex-wife highlight this. She’s also a sadist Plus a masochist who likes to see people squirm and be made to squirm.

Dave had to show Calderon who’s in control one last time, he had to scratch his own itch to hurt others, and he had an opportunity to make himself look better than others. He just wasn’t banking on her surviving.

I guess in the end, Dave just got beat by Jurnees more impulsive, emotionally unstable, and violent ASPD. Dave had a need to win and beat everybody, Jurnee will do whatever it takes to survive.

I thought they both would be arrested or killed in the ending though. If not Dave and Jurnee, then a lot of others being lashed out at. I really thought shyt was going to get extremely violent.
