Sorry buddy. If u were born in 92
Exactly. Let the back tracking commence. Went from 90 to 92. :youngsabo:
Like i said earlier Super Nintendo ain't come out til 91, that's like somebody who was born in 2005 claiming they grew up playing the Xbox 360.

But if that's what they grew up playing, then that's what they grew up on. No amount of rhetoric that you type to make yourself feel good or different will change that. Average life of a gaming system is 5-6 years. I had an original Game Boy fool. :pachaha: I remember wanting a Color so bad. :ohlawd: Had the original Playstation, the Sega Genesis and the Dreamcast, the 64. I was playing the Original Tomb Raider. LOL.

Your generation is the purveyor of the Peter Pan syndrome. There are a lot of things 90s babies grew up on that you shouldn't have even been on because of the level you were supposed to be at, maturation wise, in the 90s.
Don't get mad cause there are a good number of 90s babies who grew up on the same things you grew up on. You more than likely matured late. That's not anyone else's fault but you and your parents. :yeshrug:

You was up at 13 watching cartoons on Saturday morning. :dead: Come on man. :pachaha: Who's fault was that?

Well u a 80s baby so my apologies :myman:

Most these 90s babies were under 10 years old when the internet went mainstream. Us 80s babies were taking Keyboarding classes on type writers and playing Number Munchers on the computers with the big floppy discs.

We ain't the same

:pachaha: Like what?

I turned 13 in 2000...

Also, dude is right, if you were playing NES, SNES, SEGA, or old gameboy then it was on some Retro shyt because those weren't the current systems of your time. They weren't marketed towards your age group at that time is what im trying to say I guess... But if your family held onto those systems after buying them before you were born or when you were a baby then thats GREAT... Either you had older siblings that already had them or someone bought them after they had been around for awhile even though there were better systems out by the time you were of age. I got lucky and was able to fukk with the NES for that very reason due to having an older sister and then we got the Genesis when I was like 5 or 6 in 1992-93, which is what I really grew up on and moved to the PSONE in 98' when I was 11...

nikka, Playboys and porn are marketed to adults but it's still a "rite of passage" in the life of every adolescent/teenage boy, so this whole "marketing" point is unrelated.

Cartoons for one, in response to the thing you bolded. Many of you are highlighting shows that actually were meant for kids as a mark of you growing up in the 90s (which is crazy because these shows were definitely NOT marketed to you, which shows how nullified your point of "marketing" is)

I had a Super Nintendo, brand new. I had a 64, brand new, I had a Game Boy, bought brand new. I'm the oldest child. You have to remember that the internet was not in the lives of many people back then. nikkas didn't know how to even find or begin to search for release dates, so people would buy things and then something new would come out some months later and the shyt would sit on the market for 6 years. So even though you bought the Game Boy when it came out or in 93, that same product was still "marketed" to me years later anyway. The way you all bring marketing up as a point is silly as marketing doesn't seek to target birth years, but age groups.

Y'all's point is really moot.

Somewhere plottin
:rudy:

I played with super soakers back when I was a kid :childplease:

And as I recall, Kenan and Kel (teens in the mid 90s) were using the internet.

shyt wasnt advanced like it was back in 05-07(when I was a teen) But it was still internet.

Yall 80s babies childhoods were no different from us 90s babies childhoods.

Technology didnt take no time to advance within the last decade so of course a lot of the shyt these kids and teens got now, I didnt have access to back when I was their age.
