Lil Herb way better than Bibby. Better flow, more quotables, it's not even close. But, it does seem like Bibby's more focused on his career than Herb right now judging by the moves Bibby's making right now. Herb's been kinda quiet.

I noticed Bibby is always on twitter promoting his music and shyt, meanwhile Herb just goes on there when he has a new song, or when Bibby does..

Herb been in the studio, tho.. like 2 months back he said he didn't care about rap anymore, but then he came out with that Versace remix and linked up with Mikkey Halsted (who has ties to Lupe, Common and Kanye).. so I think that got him back on the right track and lowkey makin moves

I think he is more polished as far as rapping is concerned, so it sounds like he is not "bout that life," even though he raps about it...

I think he is way off beat, most times, it's like he doesn't write to the beat...

I feel the same way about Bibby, and Durk, they sound too "clean" to be savage, which is what the Drill movement is all about...

I just don't believe they are about that "action," they very well maybe, but it just doesn't come through in their music...

I am all about "believability" when it comes to hip hop...

Them boys (Herb and Bibby) just sound way to clean for street dudes...When street dudes start rapping, they have a different aura with their rhymes, it CANNOT be faked or coached...

For example, DMX, 50Cent and etc...This aura is so strong when they are on the come-up, that's why they get all the hoods across the country buzzing...It only disappears when they get rich and start living comfortably...

I don't hear it this "street vibe" when I listen to Bibby and Herb,,,They sound way to polished to be "street dude trunt rapper," it's even more pronounced because they are broke dudes on the come-up, they should be sounding way more grimmey and savage...

I would be more interested if they took the Kendrick Lamar route, and started being conscious about being "good boys" trapped in a bad environment, and gave us the real about all the pressures that is put on good young Black Americans coming up in such a violent city as Southside Chicago...

That's why 2Pac was so great...He was no hardcore savage, but he was able to portray the struggle of a young black male who was taught better, but was stuck in an impossible environment...

Stamp. As long as these nikkas ain't some gump ass CB4 nikkas, I don't give a fukk about that hard body shyt. If them nikkas is city dudes as far as I'm concerned they can rap about city life all day long. If they are intelligent enough to put together coherent sentences, all the better, especially since rapping is a craft, and a foundational element of rapping is the ability to manipulate words and ideas. I'd much rather listen to a dude that's just been around the shyt but can rap competently than a dude that's as thorough as they come but shytty at this medium.

To the OP, I fukk with Herb. Really the only dude out of that entire movement (that drill shyt) that I rock with heavy.
