I remember when I was a kid me, my cousin's and the guys used to talk so much shyt about joining the military because of those "strong and then there's army strong" commericals.

Everyone would talk to recruiters and my grandma told me to sit my ass down because I'm Canadian

Average person doesn't think outside of the dumb ass Army. They only think the Army is shytty because (it is) they are more aggressive than any other branch with ads and recruiting. Most people "end up" in the Army.

It's Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, then Army in that order for best quality of life.

Nah the Asvab stops you from being too dumb to get in. The gt scores (aptitude) say what you’ll be least likely to accidentally kill yourself doing. Most of the really dumb ones end up driving cargo trucks, fuel trucks, Human Resources, MP, cook, mechanic, etc. Not saying there aren’t smart people doing it, but if you flunk out of the the MOS school you want, you’ll probably end up doing something listed above.
