When Denver defense was healthy this year they dominated. Every single game. Every single opponent. Outside of Brady the first game, Brady the 4th quarter of Championship game and Big Ben in the regular season they shut everyone down.

The common dominator in those guys having success was TJ Ward being out for all or part of those games.

Elite defense all year long. All year long. Take away the Peyton pick sixes and interceptions that left them defending from the 50 yard line it's amazing what they could have done statistically.

That's what it honestly comes down to. I trust Denver's Defense to make it a game, but I damn sure don't trust their O to keep them in it against Carolina's Defense. Outside of Demaryius and Emmanuel, who are you really afraid of on that offense if you're Carolina. If the rush gets there, you know Manning is gonna give himself up and go down immediately so he doesn't take the hit.

Broncos' Defense might have to score once, cuz I'm not seeing the offense being able to put up enough to win it.
