Y’all really eat catfish?

I love it, I just don't trust a lot of it so I don't eat it too often. nikkas got a gang of that 'basa' type fish at the lil hood stores, tastes good but doesn't FEEL good if that makes sense. I like Salmon because It steams good, I never had catfish that wasnt fried lol, what that be like?

Gotta be careful with the hood store catfish. I had some once from a place I had a philly from before that was bangin. Catfish tasted good but after I was done I felt like...just soaked in grease. Woke up middle of the night and was shytting intermittently for the next 2 hours. shyt was prolly a lil old

Catfish and Tilapa are the only fish I eat . Has to be fillets or nuggets though I don't like fish with bones

there's a lot of bible thumbers here... what says the passage about not eating fish with no fins and/or scales...

a lot of those old rules about diet are based on knowledge of animals and THEIR feeding habits.

but in todays world where you just buy whatever is at the market people have less off a relationship with their food thus less knowledge and understanding of said foods habits in their environment.

Catfish are scavengers the best way to eat them is if they are farm raised, I wouldn’t touch any that are from a river.

Hate catfish.. had it once as a kid, got sick and swore I’d never eat it again.

Salmon, snapper, trout and bronzini are my type of fish to eat.
