Prime vs prime wade was better. Longevity and bringing up injuries is irrelevant to the topic if we being technical. As an all around, two way player wade was better although I think Curry’s most important skill which is shooting will last him much longer as he doesn’t put his body through as much damage as wade has.

If u wanna argue better career then I think curry will have him beat due to doing what he does best for a longer stretch again due to less wear and tear being a shooter as opposed to a career slasher

I can't put Curry over Prime Wade. The Wade I saw against the Mavs was godly and that's like the beginning of his prime.

is this thread worthy?:stopitslime:

I mean even if you think Wade was better, you shouldn't be mad enough to make a thread about the fact somebody think Curry was better than him. Curry got two mvp awards, and championships and broke few records. led the NBA in scoring and steals. there are crazier shyt said in the coli every hour.

Well considering Iguodala won a finals mvp and curry has struggled in the finals...the argument is more valid then youd like to think.

Finals mvp’s don’t determine who’s the better player. That was the premise of the thread.

Curry will rank higher off accomplishments and longevity so its not contreversial.

That said, I'd take PEAK Wade over any version of Curry. He just was cursed with bad supporting cast and a lack of durability.

People dikkride players in the moment too much for objective thought

I've seen Steph shrink too many times when:

A) Defenses rough him up and play physical
B) His three is off and he has to get points in other ways
C) When Klay is off and he has to shoulder everything alone (not a problem now with Durant there)

I've seen Wade and Kobe destroy teams by themselves. I've seen Kobe and Wade take over games regardless of how physical defenses played them. And I've seen Wade and Kobe get buckets from anywhere on the court, as in shutting off one facet of their game wasn't enough. Plus neither Kobe or Wade had the sort of firepower Steph has in their primes. Wade would've got 2-3 rings between 2006 and 2010 with the level of talent on the Warriors. Ditto for Kobe. Lastly, Wade and Kobe could shut down Steph one on one if they made it a priority. Steph gets cooked by Kyrie. He wouldn't be doing shyt against a Prime Wade or a Prime Kobe.

I mean, Wade was a great player but Steph is better. Where's the harm in that? Yall gon learn to appreciate the fact that, in a game predicated on shooting, Curry is the BEST at it EVER. His game isn't aided by referee help either the way Wade's was in his prime.

When it's all said and done, there's only gonna be a few guards you putting over Curry. Wade not one of em.

Step his a monster there's no denying that but wade brung his game every night in ways that I haven't seen steph do... I can't see steph carving up the early to mid 00's pistons like wade did

I can't see steph willing his way to points like wade did vs the mavs and in my opinion put prime wade on the 16 warriors and they'll beat the cavs in 5

He just gives you so much more than steph and literally couldn't be stopped

Won’t debate anything u said here except point C. If we being objective Curry 2nd MVP season and games without KD last year n this year Curry been wilding out and klay wasn’t up to par every game.

Steph Curry is 8th all time in play off history for points per game
Dwayne Wade is 35th

now whats your argument :jbhmm:

Tough call. Wade is an all time great player on both sides if the court. Numerous MONSTER dunks over big men, game changing blocks, and clutch shots for days. But Curry's such a ridiculous three point shooter, you don't even care about his deficiencies.

I'm going with Wade, but this was tough.
