They tried the anti-immigration gimmick 9 years later but it go so much heat Zeb and Swagger had to break kayfabe.

Yeah the guy mentions that in the video, it was really good. It got me to thinking how good the writing was back then compared to today, I hated JBL as a kid.

The very very early iteration of JBL was flat out racist, then I think they realized how much they were crossing the line and adjusted him to simply be a rich loudmouth Texan.
