If we can't get the intense rivalries & "competitive hatred" we used to get between players & certain teams........then I'll take this "trolling" from the last season or 2 over the "we are all best friends & train together in the off-season" bullshyt we were getting for a while. Obviously none of 'em (especially the "top" players) are looking/willing to throw down like the players in the grimy 90s (which was the NBA "Golden Era" in terms of EVERYTHING, fukk what u heard), but this is definitely a good start to getting the natural rivalries/beefs to pick up a bit of steam (not force-fed by the League, like the "big rivalries" the NBA has been trying to fabricate/push). I want players to have that competitive hatred/spirit towards the others again.......sh!t, biggest thing that was crazy controversial & didn't feel forced was the KG "honey nut cheerios" comments about LaLa. Of course we've had a few minor blips on the beef radar since then, nothing that feels "real" tho......we NEED that hatred, that competitive edge..........we need that (natural) fukkery back!!!!!!.........then the League & us fans shall prosper once again. If this tshirt sh!t is the start of it instead of just some lame playfulness (that will die down until the Finals a year from now), then I say keep on keepin' on with it.....I want 'em to hate each other enough (in competitive terms) to treat the regular season games VS certain teams/players with the same emotions as a Playoff game .
Obviously social media has flipped EVERY script in terms of how players act & interact with each other and the access the fans/media have to them & their "thoughts", but...........
