Telling part or all of a fanbase to knock off the bigotry in your forums or get perma'd is something that should absolutely happen. But if the game is supposed to be based in a historically accurate timeframe, and there weren't ANY other races of people located in that setting in real life at that time, they shouldn't have to change that and then force feed it to a group of ppl who don't want to see it. Me being black, I'm not gonna want to buy the game anyhow if all you've done is snap your fingers and go "Oh! And there were negroes here, as well!" If theses cacs had to deal with some Asians or Africans back then, that's one thing. If not, just keep the game as is, but let it be known you aren't fostering hate anywhere. If they did capitulate and added ppl that weren't there, they're only gonna galvanize them jokers into worse behavior.
It doesn't make any sense. I'm not about to be demanding they make a game with other ethinic groups in it if the setting doesn't call for it. They follow this up with a game based in modern day South Carolina and it's nothing but cacs, then there's a problem.
