I'm high and I feel like I wrote a lot but the bold lines are the most important of them all. Lol
I'm not voting for either one. However, if I was in a toss up state I would vote for Hillary. This is how I see it, Trump is incompetent. I dont care how much you like him or hate Hilliary, this is a fact. Those who like him because he is supposedly a self made billionaire, how you can be dismissive of the fact he wont release his taxes? He is setting a precedent going forward for others to also refuse to release theirs. I dont think this would happen because any legitimate candidate running for president would release them, he is not a legitimate candidate. He has no BASIC understanding of foreign affairs. His supporters are growing more racist and violent as time goes on. He is going to incite violence by saying he was cheated out of the election. Again, this is something we would not see from a legitimate candidate. He's a creep. He thinks he knows more about ISIS than the general do, according to him and he is a man who has never been in combat. He lies all the time and sometimes within the same conversation. He tweeted to go and watch the Miss America chick sex tape and then lied and said he didnt on national tv. He likes anyone who likes him without any in depth knowledge of the actual person they are. Hell, Republicans as a whole don't like black people. They dont even try to seek out our votes. They take every stance as the opposite of what could benefit minority communities. They just voted to release money for Flint, a whole fukking year later. A senator from IA, Steve King I think, tried to get Harriet Tubman off the 20.In North Carolina they conducted a study to see trends in how black people vote and then attempted to enact legislation that would hinder us. I could go on but I think I'm being clear.
Why would I vote for Hilliary? She is the safe choice, she is competent and she would basically be Obama 2.0 in terms of much of her policies. I think Bernie Sanders can have some input on legislation and she will be forced to take some sort of action if he can still rally his base in the next 4 years when she will need them again. My honest opinion is, the issues that effect my everyday life are more important on a local level. Who is my governer, who is the mayor, the DA, I'm researching the judges now, the city council etc. Legistaion passed in my state is more likely to affect me more than the Federal level. However with Trump being the "law and order" candidate I forsee more black bodies dying at the hands of the police. He thinks all black people live in inner cities, in dangerous neighborhood and need handouts even though he has black people on his staff he could have spoken to because. Im sure they are not living in the ghetto. He doesnt care about black people and will ignore the violations of our rights in the name of law and order. Hilliary will probably wait until she on her way out the door and sign a blue lives matter bill. She is a typical greedy politician. Like the Bernie supporters, Hilliary may throw miniority communities a bone or two but its going to business as usual in DC. In additon, get a few superme court justice picks out of her if the Republicans dont hold the majority and block the nominations as they are doing now with Obama.
