My first meal is lunch. Usually have 2 waters for breakfast. That way half my morning going to flushing. If I'm hungry some fruit. Heavy food all day just makes you sleepy as your body has to spend energy digesting. It also allows me to control my weight better.

Eating light chicken for lunch will keep you awake. Eating beef and high carbs till your full will punish you if you aren't fully rested.

Look up alternate day fasting. Fast for a full day eat for a full day repeat.

Ive been on that for a year and a half now and havent looked back.
I've been intermittent fasting for over 2 years now... On the occasion I've tried to go a full day without eating, the next day my body or system feels completely clean/empty.

Also can you expand on what your eating day is like... When is your first and last meal and what liquids do you drink on your fasting day... And do you gym?..

Usually I eat M/W/F (which are my gym days) plus sunday I might have a light meal depending on my weight goals.

I fast a full day, wake up and go straight to the gym. Besides my gatorade my first real calories are when I get back home and have my protein shake. I eat like a pig on eat days (got a chocolate addiction) but a more sensible approach is to eat slightly over your maintenance calories if you wanna lose weight.

If you not fasting for more than 48 hours then waters all you need on fasting days. If you doing longer fasts then you should replenish your salts/electrolytes.

I went from like 215 to 175 on fasting. And when I decided to bulk I still stayed fasting cause it meant I really could be reckless on eat days and then the day after a fast you feeling fresh.

You can tweak this to fit your needs cause even before I started fasting I always liked working out on an empty stomach, but I know a lot of people need that pre workout nutrition.
