I'm thinking either them or center in basketball but it's expected for most centers to be bummy nowdays. Dlineman look real dominate in high school/college then go up a level and can't do ish.
(Came across my mind watchin an old lsu game with Glen Dorsey and Tyson Jackson)

A center is relatively easy to scout and draft, in fact I feel like basketball is easier to scout and draft prospects than pretty much any sport. Football has too many variables, baseball has even MORE variables.

o line perhaps now, due to lots of colleges utilizing them differently as most pro teams do

OL easily for the average fan. I make a point to watch the LOS when I'm watching FB and its still hard to see who's playing well, especially in the run game

corners or quarterbacks are the hardest, there are always some serviceable lineman who end up having great careers in the mid-late rounds.

Major league pitchers.

Many times what hurts a football player's development is not performing but rather adapting to coaching philosophy. A QB might have 3 or 4 different systems to learn in 3 or 4 years if he's on a bad team.

But a pitcher's job is largely mechanics and health based. It's staggeringly difficult to know which ones will pan out.
