You guys have your heads in the sand. I don't have an anti-football agenda, I'm just observing the facts. When Nike and Bud are preemptively shytting on your partnership, which has been mutually beneficial forever, you can clearly see the negative momentum has reached a fever pitch. When the media is no longer sweeping arrests and crimes under the rug but raising a consistent enough stink about it that teams and the league are revisiting every decision they make and changing them completely, you've reached a dangerous point. When significant magazines and shows are dedicating covers and panels to football and it has nothing to do with the actual product, you're in a bad place.

The fact they haven't forced Goodell out is baffling. You have to placate the mob in this situation, or they'll stay on your ass that much longer, with that much more vigilance.

Also, women and liberals watch football. What the fukk?
I agree that on field safety issues will be the demise of the league at the youth level and it will eventually erode the game from the bottom...I coach youth football and I made a post about a game we coached a couple of weeks ago with 11 year olds and 3 EMS ambulances were brought on the field in a 45 minute period of one game...That just doesn't happen in other sports and mothers will eventually not allow their boys to be apart of that inherent risk.. I've been fortunate so far but I'm already trying to push my son towards other activities and if he gets ONE serious concussion, I'm not gonna allow him to be at risk to get that second one at his age...

But as far as the players and their legal issues that's not really as big of an issue as its being made out to be...Most of these sponsors are just posturing and the majority of fans really don't care..They got over Mike Vick electrocuting a "mans best friend".. A few Black women or white chicks that date Black men (n1gg3r lovers) getting smacked around isn't gonna push anyone away from the game..As long as the QB position stays predominantly Caucasian the league is in no short term danger..But 20 years from now after a generation has gone into less dangerous sports the talent pool will be depleted and the game will eventually fall off its perch...

So in short.. Player safety is the issue.. Not player behavior..Not enough people really care about that.. We have just been conditioned to pretend that we do...

I absolutely HATE Goodell with a passion. But they haven't pulled out and people still watching. I'll wait to see what the numbers are. If they drop then there's a problem.
It's THE hot topic right now. Anything negative is gonna move units

All this outrage is mostly by people who don't give a fukk about this sport. These fakkits wouldn't be watching on Sunday anyways. Soon enough these whiny liberals and queers will find some other bullshyt to cry over. Probably about a third of the way through the season. A crisis point? LMAO stop Walt.

I think its extremely shortsighted to not recognize a problem, and then even more shortsighted to recognize the problem and address it with the "we are winning now" mantra.

When you all watch movies, and see the big fat guys smoking cigars in the back saying "Ha Ha, we will win forever", you know for a fact by the end of the movie they are going to be in smoldering ashes, usually at the hand of some hero that was severly outmatched.

Real life and real business works like this people, only it isn't as fast as a one hour movie, and all the people involved don't look like bad guys. Boxing and Baseball were considered the ultimate sports, and eroded slowly. No one is saying that the sports will go away, but they can lose popularity.

College coaches and HS coaches are all saying that the talent has eroded slowly, and thats a 100% fact from the mouth of many coaches to my ears. The internet has shown many kids that they can do other things besides play FB, and the concussions and injuries are making more and more parents keep their sons out of the game.

Why would you even think football is going to be the ultimate sports for 300 years lol - stuff comes and goes, thats just life.

As with most things in this country, people can't see the forest from the trees.

Just like with the MLB and steroids, people love the entertainment so much that they can't stop to ponder the legitimate threats to it.

Dudes will shyt on rappers, celebs, hell entire countries...ALL THROUGH THIS MESSAGE BOARD

Talking about "such and such LOST" or "such and such fell off"

Know why they lost or fell off? Shortsightedness. The NFL is not invincible. Nothing is.

Thank you bruh

Football is going to end and it's going to because science will continue to show that football isn't for the human body

The white mothers will be first to jump on this bandwagon and without the white QB to promote in CFB and Highschool the entire infrastructure will crumble
