I never understood people who curse around their kid and yet have a problem with their kids cursing up a storm too.
I've seen every type of household find harmony around this. one example was my household, my parents never cursed around me, i never cursed around them. My dad was the type to say Fudge instead fukk.

I also had friends who were on that osbourn type of dynamic, where they could openly swear in front of their parents and the parents would swear too and not give a fukk. I found it kind of trashy, but they didn't have any problems with each other.
