Well OP I saw this thread before the show, and like everyone here, my mind told me this: "It makes sense and can get multiple people more over, so they will not be doing this". Not that I figured I was the only one thinking this. As can be seen here, and the polls on multiple wrestling sites, nobody wanted this, and most people saw it coming too.
