Outside of ginger ale and club soda, I haven't had soda in over a decade. I don't even mix my drinks wit that sweet shyt.

Overall though soda and sugar/candy consumption have been declining since the early 2000s yet America is getting fatter

Im guess omg that the people who do drink it, drink a lot of it. Plus soda and candy isn’t the only thing contributing to obesity. More people are eating out and eating processed foods, instead of cooking. Plus the portions we eat are often enough for 2 or 3 people.

I'm scared to take another sip and really get a sense of it. I took one more before the thread to make sure I'm not tripping but it's legit awful.

For me, it didn't taste like anything at first. Just super fizzy. And then this after comes in and dropkicks you dead in the jaw you laid out on the ground, coughing up blood and tryna figure out WTF just happened

I kinda tasted vanilla??? But it's something in there that's resentful. Maybe vanilla EXTRACT-- concentrated at that. Idk, you'd have to taste it for yourself but I don't wish that on you

If you don’t drink alcohol and you gotta meet at a bar for whatever reason, soda is a good go to. I quit drinking caffeine too, so it’s pretty much just Sprite in those situations.
