TLOU had a great story but just got bored with the game play, felt like a fukking chore versus something to enjoy. Beautiful story and visuals though.

The Batman fights are button mashing... Yes you can do other shyt at times but at worse and most cases, when you get surrounded by enemies you really don't need skill to defeat them just press the attack buttons and jump.

Lets not be so thin skinned guys, I absolutely love the Batman games and will be copping the next

The fights are heavily button mashing. There should not be any dispute of that. Same combos, repetitive. But not dissing it or trynna take anything away from it.

Nope. It requires timing and skill in the fights. You can't keep just hitting the same combo over and over. Not all combos work on all enemies. Those enemies are often mixed up with the weaker ones. It's not a button masher.

There are plenty of games like that. Which is why I don't understand why Ryse is getting so much hate. In Assasins creed the combat is the same as well. You can do some pretty cool stuff if you try. But you can button mash your way through it as well.

Where I think Ryse will be lacking is everything in between. It doesn't look like ther will be much in the sense of exploration/traversal. It looks like it will be a mix between a 3rd party action beat em up and a call of duty campaign.

I don't care what system it's for it looks wack. The gameplay looks weak and the main character looks generic and boring. Haven't heard anything about the story so I can speak on that but this game doesn't look fun at all.

Which game would you rather play, Ryse or Knack

Knack obviously. Looks more fun. Ryse had me going for a moment with the opening but after the 2nd enemy was killed i was like and it went downhill from there, friend.

We only thus far seen a portion of Ryse. Batman on the other hand is just repetitive button mashing.

Prime example on I believe AC on the Joker boss fight with his goons and the train. All that board is is button mashing and dodging.

Not saying its taking anything away cuz it doesn't. But just further proof that not all the times button mashing means bad thing.

You can go through that game and use the same repetitive combo easily

If Ryse had the finesse of batman without the QTE it would be better but it doesnt so its not good.
