Yeah, this was definitely one of the best the show has done . Everything they riffed on with the different Morty's and Rick's was spot-on, especially liked the bad cop/good cop pairing.

Fat Morty: I thought I was left-handed Morty

Other Morty: Maybe your left hand started eating more vegetables

The whole Simple Rick twist at the end was

I'm going to have to agree it's so dope because it isn't "our" Rick and Morty but you get another look at how their relationship is towards each other once you see them in a society built around their relationship.

I watched the entire thing on the way to work... Yo in my gut I knew that was eyepatch Morty before I saw the envelope I had that feeling...

The entire episode was off the hook... Training day morty he gave zero fukks....
The simple Rick... that was fukked up

Not to be that man but to me during that whole police Morty shyt I was getting it as being a metaphor for race like a black cop having to deal with other blacks in a white supremacist nation

I wouldn't say it's like a main thing of the show. But they've spoofed like 6 movies while sticking to the shows themes.

They did Jurassic park, inception, nightmare on elm street and they just did training day as well.
