As I found it is better to watch Rick and morty.
after all the episodes have gone off.
Plus the episodes sometimes are so heavy. I may take a break between viewings.

The james gunn episode was one of the worst ever and the voices are getting worse. The writing is feeling like a parody of itself and it's missing Roiland's spontaneity

Caught up with the new season and agree the quality dipped from the premiere, although in S8 I can guess it's hard to come up with new space adventures for them. Jerry episode was kind of fun.

I'm barely interested in Rick And Morty and I've watched Solar Opposites. I have watched at least 3 seasons and for the life of me, gun to my head I could not tell you a storyline that happened with the main alien trio. I only liked the wall stuff with the shrunken people. I'll probably check out Principal Curtis but I wouldn't be surprised if I can't fukk with it.

It's very hard to maintain the quality of the earlier seasons of the show and it shows. I think the Jerry episode was my favorite episode this season.

Lowkey actually almost every moment with Jerry has actually been funny (credit to Chris Parnell)

The season finale is tomorrow and I'm only halfway through.

With season seven, it was a combination of me being lazy, being preoccupied with other things, and also not having certain episodes recorded on my DVR, so I had to seek them out. This season? I don't know.

I guess I'm finally at the point where Rick & Morty is just a show that's on, and I'll still watch it, but I don't have the urge to watch every week like I used to.

The only great episodes this season have been episode 1 and the Jerry centric episode. Jerry lowkey has been the MVP of the series the last 2 seasons.
