In animation, you typically record the vocals first and then animate to those performances, giving the voice actors the ability to improv and, if it works, they can animate to that performance later if they want.

Just finished the first season. I know I'm late, but damn....this show is amazing. The Lawnmower Dog episode hooked me. Some of the funniest shyt I've ever seen. Can't wait for the next season. Hopefully it lasts a while. Seems like it will have legs and get better as time goes.
